Amit Shah while leading a Jan Raksha Yatra in Delhi to protest against the killings of right-wing activists in the Left-ruled Kerala criticised the Communist government for the killings in the state. As per an ANI Tweet, Shah said, “Communist Party should be ashamed, most murders took place in CM’s area. Over 120 BJP-RSS workers killed since Communists came to power.” He further said that the bodies of right-wing activists were chopped into pieces to instill fear among the workers in the state. “Life can be taken with a bullet, but bodies of our workers were chopped to pieces to instill fear even then we aren’t scared of sacrifice,” said Shah, as per an ANI Tweet.

He also slammed human right activists for their double standard. “Human rights’ champions ka selective virodh unko expose karta hai, kyu nahi vo laal bhaiyo ke khilaf mombatti lekar nikalte (The selective outrage shown by human rights’ champion exposes them. Why don’t they organise candlelit marches against the Communists),” Amit Shah said, as per an ANI Tweet.

Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari, vice-president and in-charge of Delhi Shyam Jaju, party’s national office bearers, lawmakers, MCD Leaders, and state office bearers have also joined the 2-km long Yatra which embarked from Connaught Place to the office of the Communist Party of India-Marxist. As per reports by various media houses, Shah, on Tuesday launched the state-wide “March for People’s Protection” from Payyannur in Kannur, Kerala and held the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responsible for the political murders of BJP and RSS workers in the state.
