In a third such attack in last three days, suspected terrorists last night opened fire at a residence of a senior police officer in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to police, no one was injured in the attack. Terrorists opened fire on the residence of Bandipore Additional Superintendent of Police Dawood Ayoub in Kulgam.
Yesterday, terrorists fired on the house of two policemen, who are siblings, in Shopian district of the state. No one is reported to be injured in the incident. They opened fire on the house of ASI Dilbar Ahmad and Constable Reyaz Ahmad at Keegam, Militants broke windows and vehicle of the cops before fleeing from the spot.
Last Sunday, in an attack in PDP minister Farooq Andrabi’s house left at least 1 cop injured as the terrorists escaped with his rifle. He was not present at the house at the time of the incident. Same day, two terrorists were killed when they attacked policemen in Padgampora village. One SLR and one AK-47 were also recovered from them.

Earlier this month, an encounter between the security forces and terrorists took place. Few days back, two terrorists, were also killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama district of the state. The killed LeT terrorist was identified as Mohd Shafi Shergujari.
