Angered by his remarks on Indian Army’s surgical strikes along LoC, a man on Tuesday threw black ink on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s face in Rajasthan’s Bikaner. The youth, allegedly an ABVP worker threw ink, while the AAP chief was attending an event here. Police has taken some people into custody over the incident, reports said. Kejriwal reacted to the ink attack and said: “God bless those who threw ink at me, I wish them well.” As per the latest reports, two men have been detained in this regard.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi CM had defended his statements on the surgical strikes after the BJP lashed out at him and protests were held against him. Kejriwal said that his demand for proof was only to counter Pakistan’s propaganda of denial of the surgical strikes. “BJP, I m convinced that strikes took place. But intl media publishing Pak propaganda that no strike took place. Lets expose Pak propaganda,” Kejriwal had tweeted. Kejriwal was heavily trolled on Twitter after his remarks. BJP had attacked Kejriwal for ‘doubting’ army’s operation. Reports said that Pakistani media carried Arvind Kejriwal’s comments as headlines and sensationalised the same as a expose of India’s surgical strikes.
