Indian Railways seeks innovative ideas from public on coach design

The Indian Railways has sought from the public innovative ideas to increase passenger-carrying capacity of coaches, ensure easy accessibility to trains from low-level platforms and develop new digital capabilities at stations.

The Indian Railways has sought from the public innovative ideas to increase passenger-carrying capacity of coaches, ensure easy accessibility to trains from low-level platforms and develop new digital capabilities at stations. It has announced cash rewards for best innovative ideas on various aspects, including new design of wagons for efficient loading and transportation of new commodities.

A campaign has been launched by the railways seeking innovative ideas from all citizens/sections of the country to improve working of the public transporter, said a senior Railway Ministry official.

Almost every citizen of the country has personal experience with the railways, thus it is hoped that they will participate in this campaign with full zeal and zest.

In order to encourage people’s participation in the contest, the railways has offered total six prizes worth Rs 12 lakh. The railways has categorised five challenges that are aimed at promoting innovation in the country by focusing on specific problems being faced by the public transporter.

Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu had announced in his budget that a campaign would be launched in this regard.

The official said that today’s generation is very innovative and technology savvy and the coming time will be completely digital. Thus, the railways can benefit a lot if innovative ideas are sought from all citizens and the chosen ones are implemented.

The campaign will be a kind of brainstorming for all.

According to the railways, participation procedure, terms and conditions, eligibility, guidelines are available at website — http://innovate.mygov.in/. Last date for submitting online application is December 20.

    Railway mai Milne wale pass/pto ka card hona chahiye aur TC ke pas m/c honi chahiye pure desh mai duty thumb impression m/c honi chahiye Peoples are travel without ticket in any coach in any train. When traveller find peoples without ticket in reservation. Many p holders are hectoring new peoples travel in train. They can't bear anybody sit on their sit even a person is old aunty or uncle. 2)Because of the train name is S.F.EXPRESS but it has stop at local station. Sometime The S.F.Expresses are late for 1hour or more then it. For example jamnager intercity when it reach to your station.3)This problem is related to distance between train coach and platform. 4)Toilets of simple trains are too bad.some railway station doesn't has stairs to cross rails. We have to cross the rail by walking on it.         i have been working on this for last 2 / 3 years. we can easily increase penger capacity of present 72 to 96. working as Technical Manager in Govt PSU' pl provide appointment

Mein apne indian railway ko or accha banane k liye ,kehena cahata hoon ki coach k anndar hone bali apradhik gatibidhiyon ko rokne k liye coach k anndar cctv camera laa jaye or uske control k liye train k anndar hi 2parts m 2rpf k operator niyukt kiye jaye taki kisi bhi trh ki apradhik ghatna hone pr fastly actions liya ja sakega or train anabasyk saman bikri krne balo pr rok lai jaye....ticket counter ki subida ko atm ki trh kr diya jaye or bahan pr payment card dwara kiya jaye or usme ek operator niyukt kiya jaye............taki stations pr lagne bali line, se bacha ja sake .dhanyabaad namaskar..

            sir if design the general coach to most of the place will given by the luggage.so remove this port to give the people and the under the site will to provide for the luggage then to most of the people will happy to travel.

                As we get the ticket inside the bus by the conductor this type of facility should be started in train like as we get inside the train we should get the ticket there only not outside at the ticket counter

                    हैलो सर/मैैममेरा नाम जसविंदर पाल सिंह है ओर मैं पंजाब का रहने वाला हुं। मुझे रेल में सफर करना हमेसा से पसंद है इस लिए रेल सफर करते वकत आने वाले परेशानी से मैं बहुत अछछी तरह वाकिफ हुं। से मैं इस बारे में अपने सुझाव देना चाहते हूं।1. महिलाओं की सेफटी के हेतू:- रेल सफर के दोरान महिलाओं को इस तरह की सेफटी उपलबध करवाई जाए कि वो किसी भी समय बेफिकर हो कर रेल में सफर कर सकें, इस के लिए हर बोगी में CCTV कैमरे लग सकते हैं। ओर हर बोगी में अलग अलग जगह पर पैनिक बजर लगाए जा सकते हैं, छेडखानी जेसै अपराध के लिए भी कडी से कडी सजा का परावधान किया जाए। चोरी की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए:- रेल में CCTV कैमरे लगने के बाद चोरी की घटनाएं वेसै ही वहुत कम हो जाएंगी लेकिन जो लोग रेल का सामन चोरी करते हैं उन को रोकने लिए सबसे पहला उपाय ये है कि जयादा सामान जैसे पंफे, सीसा वगैरा को वैलडिंग की मदद से फिकस कर दिया जाए का के कोई फेल कर ले जाने के बारे में लेते भी न।3. रेल में चढने ओर उतरने को आसान बनाने के लिए:- इस काम को अंजाम तक ले जाने के लिए रेलवे को कुछ कडे नियम निरधारित करने पडेंगे, सब से पहले पलेटफारम पर लगने वाले ठेलों की जगह फिकस करनी, जहां संभव हो नहीं पलेटफारम से हट के। पलेटफारम पर जाने के लिए रासता बिलकुल खुला न हो सिरफ टिकट लेने के बाद ही यातरी पलेटफारम पर जाए एसी दुविधा हो, इस से बिना टिकट सफर करने वाले लोगो पर भी नजर रखना आसान होगा। साफ सफाई के लिए:- रेल को साफ सुथरा रखना रेलवे ओर यातरी दोनो की जिमेवारी है, इस लिए यातरीओं के लिए भी सफाई सबंधित सखत कानून बनाए जाएें और सफाई करमचारीओं के लिए भी कानून सखत किए जाए कि अगर वह ी साफ सफाई नहीं करते तो सजा मिले। किसी भी तरह की फैलाने वाले यातरीओं को भारी जुरमाना लगना चाहिए। नसे में धुत लोगों को रेल में चढने की अनुमती न मिले। रेलवे सटेसन की सफाई के लिए:- सब से पहले हर पलेटफारम पर डसटविनो की जयादा मातरा में लगाया जाए। हर पलेटफारम पर बडे बडे पोसटर हों जिन पे फैलाने पर जुरमाने के बारे में बडे बडे शबदों में लिखा हो। ओर अगर कोई फैलाने पकडा जाए तो उसी वकत उस पर जुरमाना लगे पबलिक के सामने ताकी उस एक को देख कर बाकी लोगों को सबक मिल सके।ये मेरे रेलवे के लिए कुछ सुझाव हैं, उमीद है कि इन में से कोई न कोई सुझाव आप को जरूर पसंद आएगा।आईए आप ओर हम मिल के भारतीय रेल और देश को साफ सुथरा बनाएं।धनयवाद।।।

                      LINKAGES:The linkages between the coaches should be improved by some other method as it provides discomfort to the pengers when train departs from the stationSEATS:The material for the seat can be improved .It can be even made of rigid material.Even a sliding pillow can be given to the coaches.CCTV CAMERAS:CCTV cameras can installed in the coaches as it provides more safety to the pengers.BLACK BOX:Flight like black box can installed in the drivers cabin for checking the behavior of the driver.If there is any changes in his nature like over-speeding,drunk,severe health problems,sleep etc., devices installed should calibrate his nature and it must send the relevant messages to the operating department that server should make the train to come to the stop position automatically.. This must taken into consideration as it is mandatory for the safety of the pengers.GPSGPS screen should be installed in coaches as it provides information to the people about the status of the train(where it is) it will provide information to the pengers who is new to the place especially during the night times

                        In most of train travelling happened more accident to kill the people and also animals. Its major problems. To avoid this engine front side camera with sensor to display monitor inside the driver room to control all activities.. Its prevent also heavy accident for track nd signal fault...... ...,Then another one platform nd train gap between this cap occurred major accident happened to people ,To avoid this ...to reduce the gap between platform nd train ,and also provide sensor with automatic door and sliding ways provide between train door and platform... Then train wiil be get signal to close the slides and doors automatic.. It all control and monitor to engine driver room...Then another railway body built of inner materials should be made up lite material of sheat nd hand hold pipe line are made up less weight materials ....to avoid iron material...because an suddenly happens any impact... To less injury of train inner things nd people also......the inner between sheat and walking area should be broad.. Finally one request the in front of train engine an must cover the rubber bush ...to avoid heavy imbact....because rubber material is impact and vibrant absorbed... So its must used. ..it is Above all not for design only...It is an basic safety of transporting... Train travel....it is not my idea... It is my very humble request...                           Sir first preparence of safety oriented action of driven room provide control and monitor with sensor.then infront of train engine provided rubber push cover... Then automatic door of all coach... Providedan slider to connected to platform an while train stop... Then train inner body built made up of less weight material as shear and hand holds.... Should be avoid iron material.. For inner things..
