With surgical strikes not stemming the flow of terrorists into India, BJP National Executive member and Rajya Sabha MP, Subhramaniam Swamy has come forward to declare that India should attack all the terrorists safe havens in Pakistan. In his latest tweet, the senior BJP leader expressed his annoyance, writing that India should actually cluster bomb Jaish-e-Mohammad headquarter in Muridke near Bahawalpur in Pakistan.

This is for the first time that any BJP leader has openly talked about taking the war to Pakistan. Three days back, seven Indian soldiers were martyred as militants attacked an army camp in Nagrota. The militants used grenades and automatic rifles to gain entry into Nagrota base which is a major army camp and one of the four command centers in Kashmir.

Prior to this tweet, Swamy had earlier on November 22 reacted sharply to Pakistan’s killing of two soldiers and beheading another at the LoC. He told ANI, that it’s time to divide Pakistan into four parts, hinting that India should retaliate back with another surgical strike on Pakistan. He added that if Pakistan desires war, India is ready for it. The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), Indian Army, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh termed the beheading act as “unethical act of mutilation of the body of Indian soldiers”. Post the surgical strikes on militant launchpads in PoK on September 29 by India, Pakistan has responded with attacks at Nagrota and Rajouri.

Ever since the Uri attacks, relation with Pakistan has worsened, as there couldn’t be any diplomatic talks. Pakistan has been causing disturbance at both Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB) at Jammu & Kashmir.
