In what seems to be inspired from a political agenda, Film executive Barun Kashyap who sparked a huge controversy after he alleged that he was beaten up by ‘gau rakshaks’ was lying all this while, if recent reports are to be believed. The creative director did all this because of his hatred towards the Hindus.
Barun, who lives in Mumbai alleged that when he was leaving for his office a few days back, the driver of the auto he took stopped him mid-way and brought people to thrash him because his bag felt like cow-skin. He had said that though he tried convincing the driver that it was camel skin, he did not listen and brought goons to hackle him and after beating him up, they left saying ”Aaj toh bach gaye” (you are saved today).
But as per the new reports, 24-year old Kashyap was lying all this while and he has admitted to it. “I accept that I lied about the entire incident. No such incident ever took place. My Facebook post was a lie,” he has accepted in Police statement. He added “I lied because have hatred towards Hindus.”
The Police had started suspecting Kashyap’s motives as after the incident, he stayed at AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon’s house for two days. This is when doubts started surfacing of a political vendetta behind the sensational post that had created quite a stir on social media. Also, the cops went through CCTV footages that showed that Barun had left his home at 1 pm not 11am as he had said and his nine munutes journey was quite smooth without any hunches. The post made by Barun had evoked so much wrath that CM Devendra Fadnavis was being pressurized to take action.
