Following James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan’s revelation that Indian company Pan Bahar violated the terms of his contract by not informing him about the details of the product. Brosnan said that he was made to believe that the product he was endorsing was a tooth whitener, and not tobacco based. Ever since the 007 star expressed his side of the story, following the severe criticism and ridicule after his endorsement hit Indian TV channels, twitteratis seem to have found their new target for the week.
Brosnan has been a part of memes, videos and cartoons ever since the news of “Pan Bahar’s betrayal” hit the air, people from all over the country have been comparing the entire fiasco to various incidents that regularly happen in India. For example, AAP winning the Delhi election was taken as the subject of a tweet:
Pierce Brosnan says he didn’t know reality of Pan Bahar before he signed up to advertise. Sounds like a Delhi resident who voted for AAP.

Pierce Brosnan didn’t know that Pan Bahar has tobacco, just like Indian voters didn’t know that 15 lacs is a chunavi jumla ????

Pierce Brosnan didn’t know that Pan Bahar has tobacco, just like Salman did’t know it was his driver and the Deer commitee sucide.

You are Pierce Brosnan, and that Pan bahar dabba you are holding is your current job.

Pierce Brosnan says abt Pan Bahar that he didn’t know what he was selling.
Also, Kejriwal before becoming CM didn’t know CM has no power.

While Pan Bahar is yet to respond to Brosnan’s claim of fraud, it is admittedly hilarious to see these comments on Twitter. Some have chosen to believe in the story from Brosnan’s side, some have accused the actor of lying. But till the complete story emerges, in the media, we still have these tweets to have a laugh about it.
