A massive fire broke out at the top floor of Hiranandani Towers in Kandivali West, Mumbai on Thursday. Four fire engines and three water tankers were rushed to the spot promptly and the flames that had engulfed most of the top floor were doused. The cause of the fire is uncertain as of now.

Nobody trapped as such, building is fully evacuated, extinguishing and search operation is on, says Fire department.

Hiranandani Towers consists of 22 floors with two basements. According to the fire brigade, the fire was reported from the 22nd floor of the posh building around 1 p.m. Fire fighter’s immediate response confined the fire to apartments on the top most floor. No loss of life has been reported as of now, though 2 ambulances have been rushed on site. Around 20 vehicles were involved in Hiranandani Tower fire fighting operation.
