AAP leader Ashutosh, after writing a column on a popular site today came up with even more serious allegations in response to the notice issued to him by the National Council for Women. NCW, nation’s top women rights body had issued a notice to the leader after he wrote a column in wake of the recent Sandeep Kumar sex scandal.
In his blog, Ashutosh had questioned the sacking of Kumar and called the act as ‘consensual’. He had further put down the sacking of Sandeep Kumar as ‘perception management’ by AAP. ‘The video clearly establishes that both individuals knew each other and consented to sex in a private space away from the public glare. The question then is that if two consenting adults are physically involved with each other, is it a crime? Is it editorially justified that this becomes a headline in newspapers and TV channels?’, Ashutosh wrote.
The blog got all eyes and Ashutosh was hugely criticized for his remarks. NCW had demanded a reply from him on the sensitive matter. Ashutosh today had a meeting with NCW Chairperson and later tweeted the details of the same.
Ashutosh, in his reply said that no case can be made against him and if so, he is ready to be hanged.
But to add to his point, Ashutosh also alleged in his letter that PM Narendra Modi during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister was involved in snooping of a woman and that news of harassment was suppressed. He also said that BJP President Amit Shah was also involved in the incident. He said ‘ Amit Shah was keeping an eye on the minutest details about the woman’s movement.’
Ashutosh said he has requested the chairperson to register a complaint against both the biggies of BJP, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
