Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Monday, took to social media site Twitter and spoke about BJP parliamentarian Mahesh Sharma’s daughter’s wedding. Speaking of the wedding Kejriwal said asked about the amount of money that was being spent in the festival. Kejriwal also asked if Sharma was making all the payments in cheques and if he was getting the entire ceremony completed through a budget of Rs 2.5 lakhs. Kejriwal questioned as to how Mahesh Sharma had his old notes changed.
Arvind Kejriwal had earlier accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of informing his associates about the demonetisation scheme before he had officially announced it so that they could plan their way out. Kejriwal had also questioned as to why the Prime Minister had not taken any steps against the 600 people with Swiss bank accounts whose account numbers he had himself revealed in a press conference.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma also went on Twitter to reply to the accusations made by the Delhi Chief Minister and clarified that it was his son’s marriage and not his daughter’s. He also said that that he was paying all the expenses through cheques or other forms of payments.

Although, Arvind Kejriwal was also seen losing his temper while being interviewed by the BBC and had questioned the BBC’s integrity as a news agency. Kejriwal had earlier protested along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the Azadpur Mandi aginst the demonetisation scheme, where he had been shown black flags by the supporters of the Prime Minister.
