Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, slamming opposition parties over the criticism on the demonetisation policy, at the ‘parivartan’ rally in Kushinagar of Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati today claimed that the agitated people of the country wants to know the solution of the policy implemented by the BJP-government instead of knowing digital payments .
Addressing a press conference, Mayawati said, “Opposition feels pain of 90% ppl of the country, that is what we oppose. We aren’t opposing end of black money: Mayawati.”
Claiming that demonetisation had been initiated in an upared manner, the BSP chief slammed the central government, saying that the note-ban policy was implemented by the Mod- government to hide their inefficiency.
Citing the rise in the flow of black money in the country, the Prime Minister, on Novemha 8, had initiated the demonetisation poliy, following which there had been a ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1,000. With the initiation of the policy, chaotic situattion among the common people of the country, with several people stsnding in long queues, waiting for hours to replace their old vurreny notes and collect usabk 4.
Political parties had also locked horns against the Narendra Modi led central government, and with heated arguements and political uproar, the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha had been witnessing repeated adjournments.
