Following Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s live session on Facebook, criticising the Central government’s demonetisation scheme, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed that an increase of 640 percent in the number of followers the CM and AAP have on social media. According to IE, the AAP’s social media team released the official statistics on Sunday and claimed that a large part of the public reciprocated Kejriwal’s sentiments regarding the opposition of demonetisation.

The statement says that at least 50 lakh people had viewed the Delhi CM’s assembly speech on demonetisation on various social media websites. The statement also reads that AAP’s Facebook page saw a massive growth of about 640 percent in the week following the announcement of the demonetisation policy. Almost half a crore have watched the November 15 speech, the statement added.

Kejriwal’s assembly speech has garnered over 48,02,000 views and 1,72,128 shares on AAP’s Facebook pages. The Aam Aadmi Party’s national Facebook page also managed to record over 27,000,00 views on the video of the speech, while its Delhi [age has over 10,50,000 views on the same. An AAP official told IE that the available statistics only indicate the public’s response against the Prime Minister’s anti-people decision od demonetisation. Arvind Kejriwal has been quite vocally opposing the demonetisation move by Prime Minister Modi and the central government citing the inconvenience faced by the common man. Earlier, Kejriwal along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee  had addressed a rally in Azadpur Mandi regarding the same issue.

I think AAP Cyber team have never bothered to open the comment section. If they do so, then they would have known whats the truth behind spurt in his publicity. I advice them to have a sight on it. But I request them not to publish the Social Media comments publicly, because it won't be suitable for family audience.

Kejriwal's only job is to make bitter attacks on anything Modiji does. There is no hope for the country from people like him, since most often there is no logic in his arguments. We are clear that if Modiji takes any step, there will be Kejriwal in forefront, making speeches against it. He is good for nothing else and an absolute waste of a resource!

21-11-2016 Black money is mainly due to too many political parties in the country and each party is competing to get elected by any means and all possible means. If black money generation is stopped there will be limited number of parties. Just as character and antecedents are verified for government jobs same method even rigidly to be adopted for members and people in political parties. Corrupt and criminals must be prevented to enter politics. As per my view corrupt and criminals try to enter political parties easily. B S GANEH BANGALORE

When you have an uneducated goon as head and lawyer who never even won a corporator seat as FM then one can expect tugalaki farmaan's. Country has been pushed in economic anarchy and total collapse of rural economy. These are such goons that they dint even bother to check if ATM are compliant with new notes and announced with bang that notes will be available in ATM within 48 hours.

AK has gone mad as his mive hawala money for elections is now just a piece of paper. And he is CM of Delhi and who has given him a right to tell that everyone is against the PM decision yes he can tell for his boundaries and not beyond that. Had people told him to do this stupid drama. If public would opposed this decision then they themselves would have came on roads before this person starts his tantrums.

people are regretting and crying for voting for AAP in delhi! Whoever from Delhi I have met, say that AK is a total H0!e. Wonder how people can tolerate him. He came on the plant of anti-corruption, but he himself is protesting this move says a lot about his honesty. He is as corrupt as rest and worse extremely un-reliable. The media writing about his adds more fuel to this mad man!

Viewing does not mean supporting his views. People are gauging his rate of uselessness and nonsensical approach, whether it is on the rise or have gone down. Most of the views and shares come to this category. An element to ignore. Hold it. He is interesting. It is interesting to see maniacs dancing on the road sans cloth. Like so.

if the given statistics is true then Kejariwal is famous in his new role... Not as a politician but as a comedian. His interview on BBC Hindi and His yesterdays retweet "Calling Bank thief as victim of Demonetization" got publicity as a entertaining act.
