As AAP was being whipped for leaving the National capital unattended, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s holidaying pictures have added fuel to the fire. The Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has apparently summoned Sisodia to return from Finland, according to Times Now.

Cases of Chikungunya deaths have been on the rise. With the death toll on the rise, the city is reeling under a major health crisis and with the ruling party leaders out of vicinity, the criticism has been tremendous.

Sisodia, who left for Helsinki on September 12 has been vacationing since. With more cases being reported everyday, hospitals are struggling to accommodate the patients. In such times, the absence of top leadership from Delhi’s ruling party has been the talk of the town. While the number 2 is on a trip abroad, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was busy campaigning for Punjab polls earlier in the month and is now undergoing treatment in Benguluru after a throat surgery.

The political blame game has heated up with the gravity of the situation rising. Opposition has slammed Aam Aadmi Party for such irresponsibility. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that in such conditions, the least Manish Sisodia could do is cut short the trip and if sources are to be believed, Najeeb Jung has made sure this happens. Any official confirmation on the same is yet to come.
