Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader O.P. Sharma, who was marshalled outside the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday, criticised the Arvind Kejriwal-led government and demanded that the degrees of all the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs be checked.
Justifying his behaviour inside the house, Sharma said that he had suggested Kejriwal that the degrees of all 70 MLAs be checked.
“What is the harm in that? I think we can’t say the right thing anymore,” he added.
There was uproar in the Delhi Assembly over the fake degree row of former law minister Jitender Singh Tomar.
The BJP MLAs led by leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta confronted the AAP Government on the issue.
A confrontation later broke out following which Sharma was marshalled outside the house.
