Yogi Adityanath-PM Narendra Modi meet: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Delhi, according to Times Now report. This will be third official meeting between this two personalities after CM Adityanath had taken charge in March. Details of the meeting were not known. The Chief Minister had met the Prime Minister on April 9 this year. Before that he also had met PM Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah on March 21. The meeting is likely to take place at 10.30 am today, according to Times Now report.
Meanwhile, International Yoga Day will be held on June 21 in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow. The event will be attended by PM Modi. CM Adityanath and the Prime Minister may do yoga together in that event.
The Uttar Pradesh CM and PM Modi share good rapport between them. Political observers said that CM Adityanath will play a pivotal role in PM Modi’s re-election bid in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, according to Indian Express report.
Earlier, CM Adityanath had heaped praise on Modi saying that the country had touched new heights on both the home front as well as the international stage with the Prime Minister at its helm. “In the last three years, no (BJP) minister has been accused of corruption,” Adityanath had said. He further remarked that Modi’s policies and programmes had added heft to India’s global status prompting developed countries to take note of her growth story.

The UP Chief Minister had said that a number of countries have praised that the work and schemes of PM Modi. India’s honour and self-respect in the world has definitely gone up, he said. He also said that in the last three years, the central government had launched as many as 69 schemes for the welfare of the people irrespective of their caste, creed or religion.
