Demanding a CBI probe in the brutal rape incident in Bulandshahr that took place on Friday night, BJP leader Keshav Prasad Maurya said that  UP CM Akhilesh Yadav may be fit for managing a district but not a whole state. He said that the victim’s family is associated with BJP and “their pain is our pain.”

BJP president in UP, Keshav Maurya along with his party delegation arrived in Noida to meet the rape victims and their family members. The rape took place on the Friday night when the family was travelling from Noida to Shahjahanpur in UP and their car was hit by an Iron rod. A 35-year-old woman and her daughter were brutally raped by a gang of dacoits for half an hour on NH-91.

The centre had earlier seeked a state investigation into the matter and its consequent plan of action.
With many demanding resignation, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav received a strong backlash over the incident. He is expected to meet the victims on August 4. The family has threatened to commit suicide if the dacoits are not punished within three months of time.
