It was a breezy morning in the national capital today with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal even as shallow fog resulted in cancellation of 46 trains.
“The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius at 8.30 AM. The humidity was 87 per cent,” a MeT official said.
The visibility was recorded at 1000 metres.
While flight operations were normal, 12 Delhi-bound trains were reported to be running late while 46 of them remained cancelled as announced earlier.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead with possibility of mist or shallow fog tomorrow morning.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature had settled at 22.6 degrees Celsius.
