Kapil Mishra alleged that Kejriwal was hiding cash from Income-Tax department and was also involved in money laundering. He started the conference by saying that he is on a hunger strike in the interest of the nation and appealed to the Home Minister Rajnath Singh that it is not broken by force. Mishra made a number of charges against the AAP convenor which included converting black money into white, routing money to shell firms, showing bogus entries to the Election Commission and to the Income Tax department. He said, “AAP did not inform about some of its fundings which it received from fake companies.”
He further added, “These fake companies are registered in the name of AAP MLA from Moti Nagar, Shivcharan Goyal. These companies have given Rs 2 crore to Kejriwal at 12 a.m. The fund received from these companies were sent to same branch of Axis Bank where there were allegations of converting black money into white at the time of demonetisation.”
In this latest ‘khulasa’ (revelation), Mishra gave details of money used by the party in last few years. He said, there were Rs 45 crore in the bank but AAP cadre were asked to fight elections with Rs 19 crore. Kapil Mishra also said that he will approach the CBI with all the evidence.
“I will file a case against Arvind Kejriwal in Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday in connection with conversion of black money to white,” the AAP leader said.
Towards the end of the conference, Mishra showed 2-3 bank cheques worth Rs 35 cr each that were undated and uncrossed. He demanded resignation from the AAP Chief and threatened him by saying “Arvind Kejriwal, have some shame. If you don’t resign by today evening, I will drag you from your office to Tihar Jail. I’m Kapil Mishra,” as quoted by ANI.
