The person shown in the video is Mahendra Yadav, a Samajwadi Party leader from Biswa”. Although the visuals had not been clear due to being shot at night. Meghwal had allegedly barged into a police station with a large group and had slapped an officer of the law.
The officer in charge had told NDTV that one policeman was manhandled and beaten up and a complaint had been lodged against Meghwal and 6 BJP workers. Chandrakanta Meghwal had however told reporters that her husband and other workers had been attacked and detained by the police.
