With lawmaker Devinder Sehrawat alleging women exploitation, AAP is not only struggling to keep its party people intact but even its reputation. Taking a cue from the accusation by Sehrawat, BJP has come out to show its support to women security.
BJP has decided to use both Sandeep Kumar sex scandal and Sehrawat’s allegation to potray Aam Aadmi Party as ‘anti-women’. The party will now be launching an extensive mass contact drive, with the agenda of ‘fulfilling their responsibility to society’.
BJP will be holding talks and discussions on various platforms, through mass contact programmes, advertising to highlight the ‘anti-women’ side of the ruling party. And to do this in the best manner, the participation would come from the fairer sex at peak. So, it’ll be Padma Shri awardees, journalists, young advocates and many women of working stature.
BJP said that the matter is not a political one but something that’s of general concern and they wish to discuss it with every women resident.
The campaigning has already begun with hoardings up in the city. Delhi CM and AAP honcho Arvind Kejriwal is said to ‘leading the birgade’, while 5 other alleged ministers including Somnath Bharti, Sharad Chauhan to Ashutosh are the poster boys of the campaign. With this, BJP is lashing out at the opposition and aiming brownie points from female residents of the nation.
