Bihar Dy CM Sushil Modi slams Lalu Yadav, says he is guru of Robert Vadra in land acquisition

Sushil Modi has been targeting the RJD supremo and his family for the past few months and has accused Lalu and members of his family of having acquired benami properties.

Bihar BJP President and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi targeted Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday. Sushil Modi alleged that the RJD chief is the ‘guru of Robert Vadra’ when it comes to land acquisition skills. Sushil Modi claims that two plots were transferred in the names of two of Lalu’s siblings, who transferred the plots to Mohd Shamim and his wife Sofia Tabassum, both of whom are residents of Lalbagh in Patna. the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister says that the two plots were then transferred by the husband wife duo to Lalu Prasad’s wife Rabri Devi. Sushil Modi said ”Shamin and Sofia transferred the plots to Rabri Devi on May 13, 2005”. Sushil added that in an affidavit submitted by Rabri to the Election Commission, she had said that she has the power of attorney for these plots, according to the Times of India.
The BJP state President added that he would expose Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family ahead of the RJD’s ‘BJP bhagao, Desh bachao’ rally. The rally would be organised at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on August 27. Sushil Modi has said that he would reveal more information about the plots ahead of the rally. Modi said ”I will reveal more information about the plots just before the Gandhi Maidan rally,” as per the report.
Sushil Modi has been targeting the RJD supremo and his family for the past few months and has accused Lalu and members of his family of having acquired benami properties. The state BJP chief claims that the family has acquired properties worth Rs 1,000 crore, according to the Hindustan Times.
