Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejasvi Yadav Wednesday took a dig at PM Modi for his “Corrupt & Chor” comment. PM Modi has been using these terms for politicians during his speeches and Yadav this time decided to openly challenge PM Modi to nab the people he thinks are corrupt. In a tweet, Yadav asked PM Modi why he doesn’t take actions against all the parties he believes are corrupt. Daring PM Modi for actions, he named Congress, Samajwadi party, Bahujan Samaj party, TMC, RJD and CPM. Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar CM re tweeted the Deputy Chief Minister’s tweet.

Following the chaos demonetisation decision caused, Modi attended three public meetings at Goa, Belagyi in Karnataka and in Pune. In his speech, he indirectly accused several politicians of being corrupt and said that they are the ones who are severely affected by the policy. Taking a dig at politicians he had said, “Those involved in scams are queuing up for Rs. 4,000”.

In another tweet, Tejasvi Yadav questioned if the government’s demonetisation policy is even working. He said that the only people standing in the queues are the common people and not one politician or rich was seen struggling. He further added that the day we see the rich toiling we’ll accept that something is being done about corruption.
So far, 40 people have died because the chaos, courtesy, mismanagement on the government’s part. Where salaried people are managing with plastic money, daily wagers are left helpless. People who have weddings at home, too are severely affected.
