Former chief mninister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and BSP supremo Mayawati addressed the public at Lucknow on the death anniversary of founder of the party Kanshram. While addressing the public Mayawati made pointed remarks at the central government lead by Narendra Modi and held it responsible for the atrocities faced by the Dalits and the minority community in various parts of the country.
She said that BJP and PM Modi, made huge promises brfore 2014 elections, most of them remains unfulfilled.
“I want to ask, have you got any pulses or rice cheaper? I dont think so.They said electricty will be cheaper and will be available 24 hrs, have you got it? I want to ask, have any promises made my BJP & Modi been fullfilled?
Small enterpreneurs and businessmen can’t do business because of the rules & regulations brought in by the present government. Promises of doubling the income of farmers were made, but nothing has happened on the ground,” says Mayawati.
On black money the BSP supremo said, that she is yet to see every family to receive at least 15-20 lakhs. “I do not think any of us have got that. Forget about bringing black money from foreign banks, the domestic black money itself is unaccounted for”.
Hitting out at the government Mayawati said that the present BJP government is working as a middleman for big industrialists and before them Congress also did the same.
Recalling her regime Mayawati said that in the past, BSP has swiftly acted against criminals and corrupt ministers.
Accusing PM Modi on foreign policy, the BSP supremo said that he has not made clear his foreign policies. After two and a half years they have realised to make our borders secure since terrorism increased it’s heights.
Under the BJP rule we have seen how dalits are facing attrocities. Rohit Vehmula and alikes are there to give examples. Mere sympathising messages by honorable Prime Minister is not enough, we demand strict action said the former UP CM.
“Since BJP has come to power, minorities are not safe in the country. The government is hiding behind the garb of gau raksha and love jehad and attacking the minorities of the country. Terrorism has made them look at Muslim community with an eye of suspecion” Mayawati said in the conclusing parts of her address.
