Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev called for boycotting Chinese products on Monday. He alleged that the action by China are dangerous for country’s unityand integrity.
The China is still non-committal on India’s bid for entry into the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
Demanding ban on Chinese products, he said the step is important to teach that country a lesson.
China has always been non-committal in India’s NSG bid. During the BRICS summit held last Saturday and Sunday, the prime minister had raised the issue but China refrained from assuring India’s entry into the club.
“The PM said we look forward to working with China to realise India’s membership. President Xi said the second round of talks (on NSG) will be held very soon and this would be helpful,” said Vikas Swarup, the official spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) was quoted as saying by abplive.com.
During the recent summit and also earlier, India and China have expressed desire to improve security dialogue stressed for continuance of dialogue on the subject.
