Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was at his “pathetic best” while praising Burhan Muzaffar Wani at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday, BJP leader Ram Madhav said today. “Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the UN was at his pathetic best. He talked not like the supreme commander of Pakistan but like the supreme commander of Hizbul Mujahideen,” Madhav told ANI.
Madhav said that Sharif exposed his intentions to the world by openly “championing the cause of a UN-designated terror organisation.” “Pakistan Prime Minister was openly campaigning for one of his terror commanders Burhan Muzaffar Wani. It is pathetic to see the Pakistan PM championing the cause of a UN-designated terror organisation. Pakistan should be declared a terrorist state,” Madhav said, adding that with his speech Sharif established everything that India was saying about him and the Pakistan government.
Talking about India’s response to Pakistan on Uri attack, Madhav said that India will respond to Pakistan at multiple levels. At the diplomatic level, India’s notorious neighbour has already received a “befitting reply.” “We will respond to Pakistan on its Uri misadventure at multiple levels. At the diplomatic level, befitting response to the country has already been given.”
He further said: “Apart from diplomatic offensive which we have already launched, the other aspects will also be taken care of. I am sure the government will take necessary actions. Perpetrators of Uri Attack will not be spared.”
In an early morning attack by four Pakistani terrorists on an Indian Army camp at Uri in Kashmir, 18 soldiers lost their lives on Sunday.
