With internal differences leading to a full blown crisis, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today appeared to be threatening to crack the whip in the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal row against senior leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan – action is expected at AAP’s national executive meeting on Wednesday, where both the senior leaders are accused of generating a crisis by attempting to “remove” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from the post of party convener.

At a press conference here today, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh also targeted party patron Shanti Bhushan for his comment in an interview that Arvind Kejriwal should be replaced by Yogendra Yadav.

“Someone from within the party, certain senior leaders are trying to remove Arvind Kejriwal from the post of National Convener, by targeting him and maligning the party,” Singh told reporters here.
Take the opinion poll, tell us what you think:

Without naming Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, he referred to statements and letters by senior leaders which amounted to making the party a butt of ridicule and a “joke of us”.

Expressing displeasure over the leaking of letters to the media, the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) member, said the issues could be discussed in the party forum rather than bringing them before the public through the media.

He announced that the party’s national executive would meet on Wednesday and decide on all issues including the latest controversy over differences in the party.

Singh parried questions when repeatedly asked whether the two senior leaders would be removed from the Political Affairs Committee (PAC).

“I have only announced the date for the meeting. Have I announced the decisions that will be taken there,” he said in reply to questions on whether action will be taken against the leaders.

Singh said that when at its national executive meeting held last week, Arvind Kejriwal had tendered his resignation, it was opposed by members who had insisted that he should continue as the AAP national convener.

It was decided at the meet last week that Kejriwal will continue as the party chief and there is no question of removing him from the post. If this is the case, then how will the party work?

“Will the volunteers like it. Those wanting to remove Kejriwal as party chief should also take the emotions of party workers into consideration,” Singh said.

Crisis in the party intensified after Bhushan, in a letter to the national executive last week, said that the “one person-centric” campaign was making the party look like other parties and called for more “swaraj” within the organisation.

Along with Yadav, he also gave a joint letter to the national executive and demanded activation of an ethics and grievance committee.

“One person-centric campaign, which was run during Delhi elections, is making our party look more and more like other conventional parties that are also one-person centric. The only difference being that we still claim that we are wedded to the principles of ‘swaraj’ while they don’t,” Prashant Bhushan had said in the letter.

Delhiets witnessed in recent Delhi election results, completely wiping of one of national party and near decimating another national party to near extinct. The election results indicate that as soon as an option was given to Delhiets, they did not want to waste it. In last election AAP made an impact and were able to get 28 seats that even none of the political parties or political experts or even media ever imagined in their wildest dreams. AAP could govern only for 49 days in Delhi during the last term and this time AAP broke all records getting 67 of 70 seats. Delhiets brought this change or can be stated that as a paradigm shift in Delhi politics. With AAP getting absolute majority in Delhi recent elections, strongly indicates that the promises (AAP Manifesto) made to Delhiets during recent AAP election campaign, were actually very much needed since long, and therefore AAP were able to win over the confidence of Delhiets. The bottom line that all AAP leaders and its strong supporters mandatorily remember that in-order to retain confidence of Delhiets, AAP needs to fulfil all the promises doented in its manifesto at the earliest as is actually a race against time and AAP has no other option than to win this race. At this stage having serious difference of opinions that are fracturing the unity is most detrimental to AAP. It is honestly wished that all concern top leaders of AAP to effective forthwith stop this ongoing leaking of vital doents, stop immediately the blame games, instantly brake away of any personal egos as act like catalyst in creating or widening of differences, etc. In larger interest of AAP, such activities that lead to indiscipline and / or breach of trust must be arrested here itself or AAP will be misdirected and lose the sight of its targets that have to be mandatorily achieved. AAP has lots of professional and must run it professionally. All concern with exceptions that are part of any process must integrate themselves to the system. Everyone should be part of the system and none of the individual should ever attempt to intentionally or unintentionally act above the system. All concern in AAP must always remain only the part of system however remembering at all times that none is authorised to run the system. For giving consistent services promised to Delhiets the system has to be run only professional. Everyone forming part of the system falls within the system but must follow urance path rather than control path. If urance path is followed, rest ure will be able to provide consistent and quality services that AAP had promised in its manifesto. It appears from comments and through media that the root cause in fermenting in AAP top leadership is mainly due to the fact that an attempts are being made by few top leaders to follow the “Control Path” rather than following “urance Path”. It’s a fact that in few years following “Control Path” would lead to self-destruction because taking control in individual’s hand to run the system will not be able to give consistent quality output. Each and every individual on our planet has some or other weaknesses as such chances of error always exist however if a robust system is designed and all concern perform (or) discharges their igned duties and responsibilities the chances of error are near negligible and at any time if consistency or efficiency drops, the system can be corrected by initiating corrective and / or preventive actions to attain higher efficiency and consistency. Ever wonder why modern aircraft flying for long hours are always flown on “Auto Pilot”. Its only to provide consistent, safe and efficient service to pengers and also eliminating any chances of human error (or) errors induced as a result of taking into consideration the principles of “Human Factor”. When aircraft is fling hundreds and hundreds of systems are working simultaneously and majority of systems are being only controlled by computers. The entire Aircraft is flown with hundreds and hundreds of system responsible for operating and running it simultaneously and all are integrated and then ultimately monitored through “Auto Pilot”. Any malfunction in any of thousands and thousands of circuits installed and running simultaneously is prompted through alerts and is either auto corrected or if required by the pilot, the net result being consistent, safe and efficient flight to the pengers. One thing is for sure now Indian politics cannot be run as had been running following “Control Path” and all parties must understand that it would be better for all parties to change from the decade’s policy of following of “Control Path”. This change is much required mainly because of two main reasons because today’s electorate are more educated, therefore are very much aware of their rights and deeply understand the way state or country is being governed. Today’s electorate will not wait for decades and wants to see positive results. It is therefore humbly requested to all APP top leaders and its supporters to refrain following “Control Path” and must only adopt to follow “urance Path” in order to achieve targets thereby fulfilling all promises made in AAP manifesto.

Kejriwal won't relish anyone raising in the Party and will not share power with anyone. He will use everyone including leaders, volunteers, voters and will not hesitate to throw them after he achieves the target. He will always keep a small coterie and drives them to implement his authoritative decisions. Only we can pity on Yogendra Yadav and Prasnth Bhusan, who built the Party devoting their time and energy and now at the receiving end like Ilmi.
