In less than 48 hours after a deadly terrorist attack took place at an army base camp Jammu & Kashmir’s Uri district, another militant strike has been reported at a police check post in Handwara. No casualties have been reported so far in the attack. The attack comes a day after 18 Jawans were martyred and several others were injured on Sunday when four heavily armed fedayeen stormed into the administrative buildings and store complex of an infantry battalion in Uri, home of the 12 Infantry Brigade, near the Line of Control (LoC). India saw a busy Monday, as the day was full off aftermath activities of the attack.

In a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, India decided to internationally isolate Pakistan at every grouping, reported ANI quoting sources. According to the report, India is to present all actionable evidence against Pakistan if required at international bodies. The report also said that Indian Permanent Mission to UN will issue a statement taking on Islamabad soon after Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will make his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
