The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today started questioning Bahadur Ali, a terrorist who was caught alive during an operation by the Indian Army in North Kashmir’s Nowgam sector. While Ali was caught alive in the operation on Tuesday, four other “militants” were killed. The Indian Army is conducting an operation to neutralise infiltrators after they spotted a group of militants near Line of Control at Tout Mar Gali. Ali was identified as a resident of Lahore in Pakistan. He was brought to Delhi for questioning by the NIA today.
The Army had recovered three AK-47 rifles, two pistols and Indian currency worth Rs 23,000 from his possession. Ali is the second Pakistani terrorist captured alive by Indian forces in the last two months in Kashmir, which has been hit by protests which started after the death of Hizbul terrorist Burhan Wani. Reports said that Ali, alias Saifullah, has confessed he is an LeT Terrorist.
