Supporters of Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav have allegedly put controversial posters of Amar Singh on Lucknow streets. Jagran.com reports that a poster war has started in Lucknow as the feud among members of Mulayam Singh’s Samajwadi family, has become public. Respective supporters of Akhilesh and Shivpal Yadav have also clashed on several occasions recently.
In one of the posters on the Sultanpur Road in the state capital, Amar Singh has been shown as a dog saying it is a BJP agent and its tail would never straighten. The poster has been put up by Anil Yadav ‘Master’ who identifies himself as a Lucknow University student leader and Er. Vineet Kumar Kushwaha, former student union secretary, Agra University. Both student leaders have also shared their phone numbers on the poster.

Tension among members of Samajwadi Party has reached to a level that a formal split in the party seems imminent, even as Akhilesh and others continue to be in denial mode. The party has been divided into two camps. The one includes the likes of Shivpal Yadav, Mulayam and Amar Singh. The another has Akhilesh and his supporters.
Mulayam and Shivpal have publicly snubbed Akhilesh by declaring their support for Amar Singh. Akhilesh considers Amar as an outsider who is the reason behind all the fresh troubles in the party. Akhilesh wants Amar to be thrown out of the party, which is unlikely to happen.
Akhilesh supporters have been openly campaigning against Amar Singh and Shivpal in Lucknow.
