AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be holding a rally in Suat on Sunday and ahead of his visit, posters depicting him as the ‘Hero of Pakistan’ have surfaced in the city.
These posters that feature Kejriwal with militant faces Hafiz Saeed, Osama bin Laden and Burhan Wani were found in the city as the party is gearing up for the mega rally. The caption on the poster read ‘Heroes of Pakistan’.
The Delhi CM will be accompanied by AAP leaders Kumar Vishwas and Sanjay Singh. While the party people got to their feet as soon as they found out in removing the posters, they have alleged BJP of the act.
Kejriwal had previously said that he expects BJP to disrupt his rally as they do not want people to discuss their problems with AAP. Although the NDA party has rebuked all such claims stating that they have no clue about the posters.
Surat AAP spokesperson Yogesh Jadvani told The Indian Express, “The banners had been put up by BJP workers as they don’t want Kejriwal meeting to take place. We have removed eight such banners. We are expecting over one lakh people to attend Kejriwal’s public meeting. AAP leaders Kumar Vishwas and Sanjay Singh will also accompany Kejriwal.”
Kejriwal who will leave for Gujarat today will address the crowd on Sunday at Yogi chowk and a huge turnover is expected by the party.
