Congress MLA and spokesperson Randeep S Surjewala has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a series of tweets after Pakistan allegedly mutilated the bodies of two Indian soldiers in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning. Surjewala shared an old video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked ‘was 56-inch chest an empty jumla?’ Surjewala further added, “Post May2014, 200 soldiers sacrificed in J&K. Pak again mutilates bodies of our soldiers. Was 56″ chest an empty Jumla?”.

Here are tweets from Randeep Surjewala:

He also shared the press release of the Northern Command of Indian Army which said, “Pak Army carried out unprovoked rocket and mortar firing on two forward posts on the line of control in Krishna Ghati Sector. Simultaneously a BAT action was launched on a patrol operating in between the two posts. In an unsoldierly act by the Pak Army, the bodies of two of our soldiers in the patrol were mutilated. Such despicable act of Pakistan Army will be appropriately responded.”

In another tweet, Surjewala asked when will the BJP government break its silence over the issue. “desh ke sainiko ke sath darindigi baar baar, nahi rashtriya suraksha ki darkar, kab jagegi mookdarshak bjp sarkar?” he wrote. However, according to the reports by Times Now, Pakistan has denied any such report by saying it hasn’t mutilated any Indian soldier.

Here is the video shared by Randeep Surjewala:

According to news agency PTI, the incident happened at around 8.30 am when Pakistan fired rockets at a forward defence location (FDL) post of the BSF along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch. “At about 0830 hours, there was heavy firing from Pakistani (army) posts at BSF posts along the LoC in Krishnagati sector of Poonch district with rockets and automatic weapons,” a senior BSF officer told the agency. An Indian army JCO and a BSF head constable were killed in the incident.

This is all nauseating. Mr Surjiwala is sprinkling fuel on fire. The need is to douse the fire. If India, stan and Kashmir are parts of the same race and share the same homeland then they must realize that they need to uphold civilizational norms in their bilateral dealings. What is gained by barbaric practices like killing and mutilating? To restructure our regional system we should shun Kautilya and turn towards Europe. No power bloc was able to maintain its position of strength for ever. Peace, security and cooperation have been achieved only through negotiations and compromises.

This has become quite as usual with we Indians that when we can't fight with our enemy together we start quarreling among ourselves .If someone has taken some initiative to change something for the betterment of the country do not throw cold water to the aspirations of the people for pretty gains.
