Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Monday directed all government officials to provide details of their movable and immovable properties and income tax within a period of 15 days. This comes just a day after the new Chief Minister had asked all his minister to provide the details of their income within 15 days. In a meeting today, the Uttar Pradesh’s government officials reached with BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ in the meeting, which was chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath after they had been directed to bring the same. Adityanath is making a name with being vigilant in matters of corruption. He had asked his ministers to submit their income details during his first introductory meeting after assuming office.

Earlier yesterday, after the meeting, cabinet Minister Srikant Sharma informed reporters that the Chief Minister had asked his ministers to give complete details of their incomes, movable and immovable objects in 15 days time as uprooting corruption was the main agenda of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He further added that the Chief Minister had emphasised on a cordial relationship between the government and the Bhartiya Janata Party organisation.

According to reports, it was also decided to train new legislators and create methods so that these legislators remain connected to the people. Earlier on Sunday morning, Adityanath had assured that his government would follow the BJP agenda of ‘sabha sabka sath sabka vikas’, claiming that the state had suffered due to the previously corrupted governments that had ruled over it.  Adityanath’s ascension to the throne of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh had been criticised and widely discussed in the media. Adityanath has a track record of ‘hate speeches’ against Muslim community in the country.
