Senior BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad on Saturday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his allegation on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prasad, in a statement, called Arvind Kejriwal ‘chief rumour monger’ of Delhi. “The person who can question the army for proof of the surgical strikes, can do anything. But it is also a bit sad to see his evolution from the Chief Minister of Delhi to Chief Rumour Monger of Delhi,” Prasad said in a statement posted on official website of Bhartiya Janata Party. Prasad regarded Kejriwal’s allegations as ‘shameless lies’. “His allegations, like all his previous allegations are a pack of shameless lies, which we don’t find the need to dignify with an answer,” he said.
Taking a jibe on Delhi CM, Prasad offered more “proofs of corruption” to him, he said: “inline with his startling revelations, we would also like to offer him some more proofs, in case it helps him expose more corruption cases. Neil Armstrong was also sent by Modi ji to the moon to perhaps to hide black money of the industrialists.”
“It maybe also the case that Mangalyaan may be used to hide black money of the corrupt on Mars. We hope he soon personally inspects Mars and uncovers the scam,” added the Law Minister.
Kejriwal, in Facebook address, had put corrupition allegations on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he was holding the office Gujarat CM in 2012.
“Why doesn’t Modiji reveal who funded his 2014 election bid? All parties must do this, whether it is SP, BSP. Amit Shah (BJP President) unleashed all agencies including CBI, ED, Income Tax after us but could not find anything, otherwise they would have jailed me by now. AAP maintains account of every paisa spent,” Kejriwal said.
He alleged that the entire demonetisation exercise was aimed at waiving debts owed by large industrialists through the money deposited by people, and that it would not unearth a single paisa of black money.
