Rahul Gandhi makes waves whenever and whichever part of the country he is in. The Congress Vice-president is a favorite of social media trolls and the recent cot rally incident managed to stir up the Internet yet again. The incident, one of its kind diverted all attention from the agendas of Congress but Rahul Gandhi seems to have some more in his pipeline.

Yesterday, Gandhi had questioned Narendra Modi’s schemes for the welfare of farmers in Uttar Pradesh with the kick start of ‘Kisan Yatra’.

After a newsmaker Day 1 at Deoria, Rahul Gandhi started his day 2 at Uttar Pradesh with a visit to Gorakhpur. The Gandhi scion seemed unbashed in his manner, again lashing out at PM Narendra Modi. Keeping in line with his attention showering to farmers and upping their welfare, Gandhi said ‘Modi ji ne chhote kisaanon ka karza maaf nahi kiya hai, ameer aur bade logon ka maaf kiya hai’ ( Modi ji has not pardoned the debts of small farmers but only of big and the riches.)

While the Day 1 turned out to be a chaotic and slightly funny note, Congress refuses to set down on the UP Polls agenda. Forever standing for Dalits and poors, Rahul Gandhi’s visit is going to see more such statements targeted at BJP and their key figure Narendra Modi.
