Krishan Partap Singh, of the Aam Aadmi Party, expressed his opposition of Navjot Singh Sidhu’s accusations against the party and Arvind Kejriwal. He said that the former BJP leader wasn’t serious about setting up a new party. He accused Sidhu of having a pact of secrecy with the Congress and said that it was the reason he kept complete silence on Congress. He also accused Sidhu of lying and added that Sidhu had wanted a ticket for his wife. In turn, he was told that such an act would be against the party’s principles and AAP did not run any dynasties.
Earlier today, Navjot Singh Sidhu slammed the AAP Chief and Delhi CMArvind Kejriwal and said that Kejriwal could only work with “yes men”. He accused Kejriwal of revealing half the truth to the public. He said the AAP under Arvind Kejriwal worked like the east Indian Company. Siddhu accused AAP of trying to procure him as a “decoration piece” and wanted his wife to contest the elections. Sidhu said that Kejriwal had promised to make his wife a minister if AApcame to power. AAP was trying to contact the couple for two years now, he added.
Talking about his resignation from Rajya Sabha, he said that Kejriwal had no hand in it. He then urged the people to vote in the interest of Punjab in the upcoming Assembly elections. He asked about the Punjab of old, that produced legendary sportsmen. He expressed his grief and frustration at the massive drug problem among the youth of Punjab.
