AAP reacts to Kapil Mishra’s money laundering, shell companies allegations, threatens to take him to court

Kapil Mishra, in a dramatic press conference held earlier today, claimed that Aam Aadmi Party hid money from the Income-Tax department.

Hours after Kapil Sharma accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of money laundering, hiding account statements from Election Commission and the Income-Tax department, AAP spokesperson Sudhir Bhardwaj in a tweet said that AAP MLAs Shiv Charan Goyal and Naresh Yadav will file a criminal & civil defamation case against Mishra.

Kapil Mishra, in a dramatic press conference held earlier today, claimed that Aam Aadmi Party hid money from the Income-Tax department. Mishra also added that money was funneled into the party through shell firms, these firms turned black money into white money. Mishra also said that he will provide evidence against alleged financial irregularities carried out by Kejriwal and other members of the party.

Kapil Mishra who has been on a hunger strike for a few days collapsed soon after the press conference in which he accused the Delhi CM Kejriwal of financial wrongdoing. Mishra has been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital. Doctors at the hospital say that Mishra is stable and mildly dehydrated. Last night doctors advised Mishra to get himself hospitalised.

After Mishra’s allegations BJP demanded Kejriwal’s resignation as he had been exposed. BJP in another post asked the Delhi CM how much money he had made in the last 3 years. Aam Aadmi Party says that Mishra’s accusations against the party are false and that he is acting at behest of the BJP.

Mishra said Kejriwal must step down from the post of Chief Minister by the end of the day and threatened to catch him by the collar and haul him to Tihar Jail.
