According to Republic TV, after he alleged that Arvind Kejriwal took Rs 2 crore from Satyendar Jain, in a PAC meeting held immediately at Delhi chief minister’s residence, the order to sack Kapil Mishra has been given. Reacting to the news, Kapil Mishra told the channel that he is still a part of the party and no one can remove him. He said people of India should decide who should remain in the party. Kapil Mishra has said that he would be revealing all in his statements on Monday to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Anti-Corruption Bureau. He also said that the day Satyendar Jain is sent to jail is when it would be proved that he was speaking the truth.
Earlier today, Mishra held a press conference at Rajghat and accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of taking Rs 2 cr from former AAP leader Satyendar Jain. Speaking to reporters, Mishra said, “When I asked Arvind Kejriwal about the money Satyendar Jain gave him, he said such things happen in politics.” Mishra had also asked the Delhi CM to explain that where did the money come from and what was done with it.

Reacting to Mishra’s allegations, deputy CM Manish Sosidia told reporters that the allegations made are baseless. “His allegations are not even worth responding to, they are so absurd and without any facts,” Sisodia added. Before speaking to reporters at Rajghat, Mishra had also met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and explained him the entire episode. Soon after meeting the LG, Mishra took to Twitter and said, “I have witnessed HIM taking illegal cash… have shared all details with Lt. Gov. It is impossible to keep silent. Loss of power is nothing, ready to lose my life also”. But he also said he was not quitting AAP. “AAP is my party,” he added.
