Soon after the sacked Delhi water minister Kapil Mishra made serious allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, deputy CM Manish Sisodi addressing a press conference said, “His allegations are not even worth responding to, they are so absurd and without any facts.” Further justifying Mishra’s sacking from the water minister post, Sisodia said that the decision was taken due to his poor performance.

Sisodia’s statement came soon after Mishra accused Delhi CM of taking Rs 2 cr from former AAP leader Satyendar Jain. Speaking to reporters at Rajghat earlier today, Mishra said, “When I asked Arvind Kejriwal about the money Satyendar Jain gave him, he said such things happen in politics. Mishra had also asked the Delhi CM to explain that where did the money come from and what was done with it?
Mishra, before addressing the press conference at Rajghat, had also met Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal this morning and revealed all to him. Soon after meeting the LG, Mishra took to Twitter and said, “I have witnessed HIM taking illegal cash… have shared all details with Lt. Gov. It is impossible to keep silent. Loss of power is nothing, ready to lose my life also”. But he also said he was not quitting AAP. “AAP is my party,” he added.
It all started last year when the AAP government put an inquiry into the tanker scam which was touted to size at Rs 400 cr. The incumbent Delhi government had accused former CM Sheila Dikshit for creating artificial water scarcity to benefit the ‘tanker mafia’ in the national capital.
Mishra had also said that he would soon reveal some big names who are related into the scam and may be because of those names, such a decision has been made.
