Beleaguered Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally broken his silence after former AAP cabinet minister Kapil Mishra accused him of accepting Rs 2 cr from Satyendar Jain. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter Kejriwal said, “Truth will win. Tomorrow special session of Delhi assembly begins.”
जीत सत्य की होगी। कल दिल्ली विधान सभा के विशेष सत्र से इसकी शुरुआत।

The AAP, on Monday evening, had sacked Mishra from party’s prime membership after the rebel leader dared the Delhi government to remove him from the party. Mishra, on May 7, had claimed that he has seen Kejriwal taking Rs 2 cr from Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain. He also said that the Delhi CM along with 2 other party leaders were intentionally delaying the probe into the water scam which happened when Sheila Dikshit was Delhi’s CM.
Apart from accusing Kejriwal and Jain in corruption charges, the sacked water minister also claimed that the party was involved in money laundering incidents during the Punjab’s Assembly elections that took place in February this year. Speaking to reports earlier today, Mishra said, “Giving and taking of money was done, alcohol and women were arranged in farm houses.”
Further in his attack, Mishra also said that many AAP leaders were involved in money laundering even during the Delhi Civic polls.

As per a PTI report, the one-day special session of the Delhi Assembly is scheduled to happen tomorrow and a high-decibel session is expected as the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to take down the ruling state government over the corruption charges levelled against the Delhi CM by a member of his own party. However, AAP leaders would also seek to corner the BJP and its government at the Centre over alleged EVM manipulation.
