A day after BJP launched its ‘Selfie with Modi’ campaign in Delhi, Union Minister Ananth Kumar said now anyone can have a selfie with the Prime Minister for free whereas, he claimed, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) charges people for clicking a picture with its chief Arvind Kejriwal.

BJP chief Amit Shah had kick-started the ‘Selfie with Modi’ campaign by inaugurating a selfie booth at Central Delhi’s Khan Market.

BJP will set up around 2,500 such booths across the city where people will be able to click their photos with a “virtual Narendra Modi”.
“It is an outstanding step by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Now anyone can have a selfie with our Prime Minister for free. I have heard they (AAP) charge for a selfie,” the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers told reporters at the Delhi BJP office here.

The Aam Aadmi Party has raised Rs 60 lakh donation at a fund-raiser lunch of Arvind Kejriwal organised by its traders’ wing earlier this month. The traders had paid a minimum of Rs 20,000 each to have lunch with Kejriwal and a selfie.

“There is no need to find our PM. He is available for free. He himself is going to reach out to the the voters,” Kumar said.

A party which has official election fund of 700 crore can even provide a lot free of cost ! But AAP is not like that and they want honest money

I have never followed politics so closely before because I did not see such honesty, integrity, accountability and zest to improve the lot of the common man. This will truly be a government of the people, for the people and by the people. The vision, agenda and proposals of AAP are NOT a mere eye wash or wishful thinking it is do-able and AAP is the party to do it.

AAP doesn't have corporate money like BJP do. Also, its virtual Modi not te actual one, he has more important task at hand. Anyways, if someone is raising clean money for electoral process, do we need to criticize them? By the way, Arvind is 90% time among local people, they can get selfie anytime they want for free. You, Mr. Shah, gave same reason for Kiran Bedi.

ON WHAT BASIS THE POOR AAM AADMI PARTY raised Rs 60 lakh donation at a fund-raiser lunch of Arvind Kejriwal organised by its traders’ wing earlier this month????? How fool the traders are that they paid a minimum of Rs 20,000 each to have lunch with Kejriwal and a selfie????? We have enough unaccounted funds by which we have set up around 2,500 such booths across the city where people will be able to click their photos with a “virtual Narendra Modi”. My vote for BJP was wasted last general elections. I voted for them ONLY for their promise of bringing black money back. Now even one year later not even a single paisa has come back. I feel cheated. I am not voting for BJP this time.
