Eight districts in Haryana, including Panipat, would be declared kerosene-free to mark the celebrations of Haryana’s Golden Jubilee Year on November 1, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.
“The entire state would be made kerosene-free in the second phase of this ambitious programme and grants would be given to poor families for taking gas connections, Khattar said.
The Chief Minister was presiding over a meeting of officers of district administration in Panipat late last evening, a Haryana government release quoting him said here today.
Khattar claimed that the economic condition of the state is better in comparison to the neighbouring states.
“Economic condition of Haryana is better as compared to the neighbouring states. This was possible due to the ‘capable ministers and Administrative secretaries’,” Khattar said.
He also said the officers should get speedy and transparent implementation of development projects.
