Saudi Arabia has reportedly arrested 431 suspected members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), thwarting attacks on security forces, mosques and a diplomatic mission, the kingdom’s interior ministry said.

A statement posted on the official news agency, SPA, said that those arrested included Saudi citizens and people of other nationalities, including Yemen and Syria, adding that the move foiled six successive suicide operations, which were meant to target mosques in the eastern province on every Friday and were timed with assassinations of security men, reported News24.

It said that attacks on a diplomatic mission, security and government facilities in Sharurah province were also thwarted.

Saudi Arabia is part of a U.S.-led coalition that is carrying out air raids targeting ISIS militants in Iraq and Syria.

A good start, but as with eradicating cancer or gangrene, the pressure and pace must be kept up from all angles. Can't afford to give it room or time to recoup or grow. Remove once and for all, else the effort is wasted. Not all countries will agree, but those whose countries they are operating on, you can't afford to wait.
