The 30th Industrial India Trade Fair(IITF), scheduled to begin later this week, will miss the stalls put up by Pakistan traders due to visa related problems. Decorative stone items sold by traders from Pakistan draw a large number of people to the fair every year. “This year Pakistan is unable to participate at the trade fair due to travel visa related problems,” Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Bani Roychowdhury said here today. She said Pakistan was one of the important partner countries in this edition of IITF. Afganistan, Bangladesh, Egypt and Turkey have confirmed participation. This year, the fair will be held in over 55,000-60,000 sq ft accomodating more than 700 stalls. The fair will be inagurated on December 22 and will continue till January 1, 2018, organisers BNCCI said.
