Two Kannada actors were presumed dead after they went missing during a movie stunt that involved them jumping them into a river from a helicopter. The movie stunt was being shot at the Tippagondanahalli lake in Bengaluru. The stunts were being filmed for the upcoming movie ‘Masti Gudi’ starring Duniya Vijay in the lead role. The filming of the scene saw three actors jumping into the lake from a helicopter; lead actor Vijay and the two supporting actors, Anil and Uday.

While Vijay managed to make it to the shore, the other two did not surface out of the water, following which a search party was dispatched immediately to locate them. However, it was reported that the police and the film crew believed that there were slim chances of them being retrieved. The stunt scene which took place at around 3 pm on Monday is believed to have involved inadequate safety precautions.

It was also reported that there had been no prior rehearsals to measure the risks involved either. While teams of expert swimmers are still trying to recover the actors, they have not been unlucky. It is still unknown if all the actors had been provided with a safety harness for the scene. But conflicting reports have arisen that only Vijay, the lead actor was provided with one. Other reports suggest that Anil and Uday were not good swimmers. Not a single ambulance was either spotted during the shooting of the stunt scene.
