Widely ribbed as a patron-saint of crumbling regimes across the world, the United States has reached out to Pakistan's embattled Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for a visit to Washington in December.

Maharashtra Govt to revise employee pay scales
The Maharashtra Cabinet has decided to revise salaries of over six lakh government employees based on the Fifth Pay Commission recommendations. The Cabinet had failed to reach a decision in this regard last week.
