NEW DELHI, September 18: Three men suspected to be involved in many robberies and auto-thefts were arrested by the North-West district police yesterday. Two cars and a pistol were recovered from Mohammed Shahid, Mohmmed Shamshad and Faiyaz.The three were reportedly involved in the petrol pump robbery near Odeon theatre at Connaught Place on September 12. Cash of about Rs 10,000 was robbed at gun-point from the petrol pump salesman.
The accused were reportedly involved in 24 cases of vehicle theft. The three were arrested during a special checking at Ganda Nala, Vijay Nagar, while they were travelling in a Maruti car allegedly stolen from Sriniwaspuri.
