NEW DELHI, Sept 18: The Delhi State Christian Association (DSCA) have requested the Union government to ban the production and sale of Christian Brothers' Dark Rum in India.The association has written to Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in this regard, pointing out that the brand name hurts the sentiments of the Christian community.
Though other leading Christian organisations are yet to issue any statements against the new brand of liquor, DSCA has threatened to resort to traffic blockades and hunger strikes if the government does not taken action.
