Beggers demand demonetisation of small coins
UNITED NEWS OF INDIA
JABALPUR, SEPT 18: Beggars in this city no longer want any small change but would like the authorities to demonetise and withdraw from circulation all the five paise, ten paise and twenty paise coins.The beggars also urged the centre to increase destitute and widow pension from the present Rs 150 to Rs 400 per month. They alleged that they were getting the pension for only two months as the officials took away the money after getting them to sign the papers.
