HYDERABAD, May 10: National badminton champions Gopichand and PVV Laxmi were today presented with the Best Sportsperson awards in the men's and women's section respectively.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu gave away the awards which were were sponsored by the Andhra Pradesh Sports Journalists' Association (APSJA) and ITC.
