BoR posts Rs 5.40-crore Q2 net profit

Mumbai, Oct 31: Bank of Rajasthan (BoR) reported a net profit of Rs 5.40 crore for the second-quarter ended September 30, 2001, compared to Rs 5.08 crore for the same period last fiscal. Operating profit was at Rs 8.08 crore (Rs 5.75 crore).

Interest earned was Rs 114.20 crore (Rs 106.91 crore) and other income was Rs 13.77 crore (Rs 11.11 crore) respectively. Total income stood at Rs 127.97 crore (Rs 118.02 crore). Interest expended and operating expenses stood at Rs 82.60 crore (Rs 78.26 crore) and Rs 37.28 crore (Rs 34.00 crore) respectively.
